Potty race:
“And first place in the outhouse division goes to the Dan Fiehrer (left) and Dan Weibel. …” An outhouse race was not part of this year’s Reggae Run but, believe or not, such events actually take place in parts of Colorado , Michigan and Vermont and even in Kentucky and Ohio .  Maybe next year?

Bird's eye view:
The top of Ault Park Pavilion is the best place to capture the essence of the- the large circle of food and drink booths, groups of people talking and laughing, the band gearing up for an incredible jam session and another beautiful sunset. Although this shot may have become cliché over the years,
we still love it!

Fine dining:
Some people utilized the stairs to Ault Park pavilion as a dining area during the post-race party. OK, it's not the Maisonnette, but thedoes have five "stars" that make it a top-notch event:
1) many generous sponsors and donors,
2) hundreds of friendly volunteers,
3) thousands of fun and laid-back runners, walkers, and party-goers,
4) the Ark Band members, and
5) patient and dedicated
police officers and paramedics.

Fancy Drinks:
A wonderful addition to the 2001
was the Fantasia booth, which served its smoothie-type
drinks packed with pureed fruit.  Look for Fantasia at places around town,
including Jungle Jim's, Awakenings on Hyde Park Square,
the Coffee Emporium in East Hyde Park and Peasant Perk in Pleasant Ridge.
